Executive Coaching

“Man’s mind, once stretched by a new idea, never regains its original dimensions.”

– Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr., American jurist

Why Coaching?

Executive Coaching is a highly effective one-to-one relationship based on confidentiality, trust and respectful encouragement. It creates a safe environment in which the coach supports the leader to clearly identify, focus on and proactively work towards his or her own aspirational goals. With the added accountability to the coach - ideally as well as elicited stakeholders within the organisation - the leader is able to work around apparent limitations and perceived obstacles:

“Obstacles are things a person sees when he takes his eyes off his goal.” - E. Joseph Cossma, American entrepreneur

How does it work?

Through a series of structured conversations with a collaborative, results-orientated and systematic approach, the coach not only helps the leader clarify specific, individual goals and actions he or she wants to take to achieve them, but also continually provides neutral and real feedback against them.

This process allows to jointly introduce new ideas, language, competencies and mindsets. Thanks to the ongoing support whilst putting those new concepts and practices to a test in the work environment, the leader can experiment and constantly readjust what works best for him or her, and his stakeholders. It is these new practices, the new daily ways of being and doing, perhaps even new shifts in perspective, that create sustainable excellence.

Win-win

At Excel with Purpose, we believe coaching can not only evoke leadership effectiveness, high performance, efficiency, and bottomline profit. For us – and our clients - the real power of coaching unfolds when it brings engagement, fulfilment, happiness, sustainable personal growth, creativity and a sense of overall wellbeing at the same time.
